I had created a partition on my hard drive using AOMEI partion assistant. My laptop is a Asus ROG gl553vd and recently i bought a 250gb crucial SSD. I tried making my SSD as the OS drive by following instructions online. I tried to shrink the HDD by using the Disk Management but it wont let me get lower than 450gb so I used AOMEI partition assistant instead to shrink my hardrive to 200gb in order to be ready for cloning to my 250 SSD. After doing the partion the software ask me to restart my laptop and then during the rebooting, AOMEI is kinda taking hold of the hdd drive and to cut the long story short i end up in options of where you could see reset, turn off pc and trouble shooting.
I tried to reset my laptop including all files to be deleted but after selecting it. It would just go back to start up screen on asus and go back to the dead end part
I tried switching the main drive to ssd and tried to install windows 10 from there but it would say it is need to be formatted as fat32
During my attempt of my installation of windows i did notice that my hdd was still partitioned and yes it was reduced to the 200gb that i want but it cost me enough troubleshooting.
Is there anything that i could do to restore my laptop?
Thank you. Sorry for the long post
