Hi
Noticed yesterday when looking at the control panel that I had a program called Chromium installed so I installed it and it was removed from the program list. However on start up of the computer today Chromum had automatically opened when I went to try and uninstall it there was nothing in the control panel.
Can anyone help me get completely rid of this from my computer?

Most grateful

Catherine

Hi Catherine,

Are you still having problems ?  If you are, please do the following for me ...

  • Download FRST to your Desktop (if you have a 32 bit machine).
  • Download FRST64 to your Desktop (if you have a 64 bit machine).

If you don't know which you have, then just download both, and try to run a scan, only one will work.

  • Double click Frst.exe to launch it.
  • FRST will start to run.
  • When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press the Scan button.
  • When finished scanning 2 logs will open on your Desktop, FRST.txt and Addition.txt
  • Please post them in your next reply.
