I purchased a set of external speakers for my computer.  I had been using the speakers in the monitor.  I unplugged the speakers and plugged them into my laptop for a day.  When I plugged them back into the desktop I had no audio.  So I tried the monitor speakers, nothing.  I decided to go to the device manager and investigate.  I got an error message, "an administrator has blocked you from running this app.  So I went on line and tried finding a solution.  Of course when you say "no audio" the first thing they recommend is going to the device manager.  I tried finding a fix for the Admin problem but nothing worked.  Also, the computer no longer recognized the DVD player.  It just says "no dvd player found".  And I cannot go to the device manager to look for it.

Do you have any solutions?
