Have any GtGers used this alternative to Google? Can it be used with a W10 desktop? Are there potential problems with it?

DuckDuckGo is a free open source Search Engine,

 

As it says, it doesn't track you, and that can be both advantageous or disadvangeous, depending on your personal point of view, and your specific search needs. Being tracked means your search results tend to be more personalised, and if that's what you're used to, then DuckDuckGo's results may seem a little "odd" at first.

 

I like my privacy, so use DuckDuckGo as my default Search Engine on Firefox, but I also have the ability to search using Google as well, for the occasions when a more "personal" search is needed to get the results I need.

 

As far as I know, DDG does not cause any problems when used with W10.
