That will work in getting the words extracted, the main problem is transforming that data into a map. Thanks in advance.

Let's say for example, that you have this address in a normal ascii text file:

1200 Pennsylvania Ave SE
Washington, District of Columbia 20003

Use Metapad (free non-LE version is fine) to replace:

  • the 'Newline' at the end of the first line,

(i.e., the hidden Carriage Return / Line Feed pair right after the "SE")

    with a blank space (" "). Next:
  • replace all of the blank spaces (" ") with "%20" (without the quotes). Next:
  • replace all of the commas (",") with "%2C" (without the quotes).

The address will now look like this:

1200%20Pennsylvania%20Ave%20SE%20Washington%2C%20District%20of%20Columbia%2020003

And finally, insert:

https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=

at the beginning of the line and you have the Google Maps URL for that address:

https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=1200%20Pennsylvania%20Ave%20SE%20Washington%2C%20District%20of%20Columbia%2020003

(Copy and paste that into the address bar of your browser to take you to that address in Google Maps).
