Would like to extract the addresses from a pdf document of church members to create a map of all members. Tried google maps. Did not work. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks as always in advance.

That will work in getting the words extracted, the main problem is transforming that data into a map. Thanks in advance.

Let's say for example, that you have this address in a normal ascii text file:
1200 Pennsylvania Ave SE
Washington, District of Columbia 20003
Use Metapad (free non-LE version is fine) to replace:
(i.e., the hidden Carriage Return / Line Feed pair right after the "SE")
with a blank space (" "). Next:The address will now look like this:
1200%20Pennsylvania%20Ave%20SE%20Washington%2C%20District%20of%20Columbia%2020003
And finally, insert:
https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=
at the beginning of the line and you have the Google Maps URL for that address:
https://www.google.com/maps/search/?api=1&query=1200%20Pennsylvania%20Ave%20SE%20Washington%2C%20District%20of%20Columbia%2020003
(Copy and paste that into the address bar of your browser to take you to that address in Google Maps).
