I always use my Satellite PC with Windows 10 with a dual monitor, extended display, over HDMI. This has always worked, whether with HDMI connection on my television (for streaming), or HDMI converter to old VGA monitor. That is, until last week. The ONLY thing that seems to have triggered it to stop working, was that I did a full shut down, which I never do (I usually just do restarts). After it powered back up, it doesn't seem to recognize that I plug in a monitor, or my HD television, or any other monitor. Before you think my HDMI port is no longer working, let me tell you that I did find one older, projection television, that it actually works with. Unfortunately, no other monitor works, and I just can't use my nephews huge projection tv for a second monitor. This is what I have tried: Windows updates, driver updates (including all display drivers, sound drivers, monitor drivers), and as a last resort, I did a reset of my laptop back to factory. Still no 2nd monitor. Anyone have any ideas of something else to try?
