put a couple of books on my granddaughter's YOGA to see if she liked them or would like more and apparently there is no ereader on the device ... can someone help me get one on it that works ... thanks in advance

Apparently there is an E reader but it only reads books from the Ebooks folder.  See:

Check the app store and see if you can get Overdrive.  This will allow you to download books for free from your local library

thanks ... but I went to google play and downloaded one that works ... it only reads .epub, but I can convert some of my 'kid' .mobi files and she'll be good to go

Do see if they have Overdrive.  Nothing like free books from the library.
