Hi,

I suspect this is some kind of new adware. Lot of new applications are getting downloaded and installed in my phone without my permission.

I am from India and using Jio's LYF phone.

They used to show advertisements for apps earlier in the phone, when they used to provide internet connection for free. But those apps were never installed without the user clicking them.

But now, Things have changed. I find random applications installed in my device and they open automatically as they get installed. I uninstalled many, but the same apps are getting re-installed.

Is there any fix for this issue? most probably it might be an adware.

I have set the security option to not install apps from unauthorized sources.

Have reset the device, yet there is no change.

Is there a  fix for this issue?

It must be a malware. You'd better download a good antivirus program and scan your phone.

Get an antivirus and install it on your phone. I have the same problem and having an antivirus is helpful in getting rid of those unwanted app installed.
