Low fps while playing games specifically “Fortnite”

I have an hp pavilion 15-n259se
Processor : intel® Core™ i7-4500 CPU @ 1.80GHz 2.40 GHz
Ram : 8 gb
-64-bit ooerating system , x64-based processor
Graphics :NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M (2 GB DDR3dedicated)
When i play fornite i get low fps around 20s but atm my cpu fan has a problem and working on replacing it ... when i do will i be able to play fortnite on good fps or will it still be high because i need better graphics card ? And does the cpu fan actully affect fps ?

Hello Zaneldin,

Replace the fan and see how it goes. Yes if the fan is not working over heating may occur and definitely affect performance.
