It is fine, I prefer the actual process explorer log file be uploaded so it is easier to read, but I don't see any issues with it.

Please answer my question and follow the steps in Post #13. Also do you still get that error message? Did you run the Avast removal tool from Safe mode?

I finished updating gpu driver and in the process of updating all drivers.

Your driver.zip does not include the driver list only the driver program itself?

It sounds like it may just be the Century link site that is slow then.

I tried to upload drivers.csv and get the message I'm not allowed to upload this type of file.

Java is updated.

One other question...This computer has 3 gb ram (4 slots with 1 slot vacant).  Do you predict a beneficial improvement in performance  if the 4th slot is filled with an equal size stick of compatable ram as the other 3?  I assume the first three slots have 1 gb each.

Thank you for confirming

Having two AV programs on your computer as explained will cause you problems, you have removed Avast and thus your initial issue has been resolved.

Please start a new thread on the appropriate forum to resolve any other computer issues as going off topic in this thread is not appropriate, thank you for understanding.

Looking at your drivers, I only see the one below that you may want to check and update. Always create a Restore point before installing any new drivers.

Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC

Ok, the Reaktek driver is up to date and is working.

Thanks to you and phillpower2 for getting this problem corrected for me!
