I have a Lacie Biggest S2s external harddrive  and cannot plug an esata cable in. Any help would be appreciated.

 What happens when you try?

eSATA connectors are keyed, meaning they can only plug in one way.

What's stopping it from plugging in? Is there a dead bug up in there or something? Is the port or cable damaged?

No obstructions that i can see, and brand new esata cables.

Being that it's a bit hard to see from here, I can't imagine what it might be then. Maybe post closeup pics of the two ports (the one on the computer and the one on the Lacie), as well as closeups of both ends of the cable?

Cable plugs into esata card with no problem. Will not plug into Lacie.

Then maybe a clear closeup pic of the eSATA port onthe Lacie?

 Figured there must have been something in the way. Thank God it wasn't something dead eh? :)
