STILL LOOKING FOR  SOLUTION, awaiting for an experts solution.
 
I happened to install a software, and it messed up my Firefox, Chrome and IE browser, some of the links are not opening. My YouTube history has videos I didn't watch before, this is within 30 - 50 mins after the issue.
 
Some of the software and other files, the program with which it should be opened, the shortcut icons are blank.
 
Youtube I cannot skip the ad videos. Yikes!
 
In Firefox, the redirect link is:
Redirect links removed that contain undesirable content to protect unsuspecting members from being enticed to click on them.
 
Can anyone help me get this solved? I tried Malwarebytes, it did remove some malwares, but still the issue persists.

I do regret having to point out that we will not be able to assist you for the same reasons that Oh My! pointed out in your topic here. First and foremost it is against forum policy. Second, you pointed out that you installed software that was the result of the issues that you are experiencing, yet you argue the software installed is not the result of your issue. Cracked/pirated software can also provide the pathway for malware to be get into the file system even if the software is not malware in and of itself. Our mission within the security community is preventative education to those we help and put those out of business who are benefiting financially at their experience.


Cracked/pirated software is not only illegal as well as it is also a security risk to you which can make your computer susceptible to a wide variety of malware infections (as you have found out), remote attacks, exposure of personal information, and identity theft.

If you decide that you would like to be helped, please uninstall the questionable software and provide FRST logs for diagnostic purposes.
