Help please in using Google to find a map location.

If I want to find, say, 11621 New Hampshire Ave., Silver Spring MD, I enter that address into my Google search and I do get a map showing that spot. Good. But suppose I want to see an area near that point but off the Google map that is shown. How do I move my focus to areas adjacent to but just off the map?

Thanks.

Hit the - to shrink the map until the area you want is visible.  Drag it to the center of the map then hit + to expand it. Recenter after each + if needed.
