Can someone please update me (or refer me to an update) on the status of gadgets like "Google glass?"

  • Are they still available or have they been pulled from the market? Why?

  • Dumb question but ... These gadgets don't do anything about vision ability, correct? How then is one who needs corrective lenses supposed to read a newspaper or book?

  • I hear that Amazon is about to launch a new version of "glasses." Where can I learn about it?

Thanks. .... batpark

Google Glasses are developed by X (Google owned), and they are still getting upgrades and are still being sold. The hype in the popular culture might be over, but the glasses still exist.
