Can someone please tell me whether I can call UBER using the Whatsapp Messenger on my LG Smart Phone from a wifi location? Note that that Smartphone does not have an ATT, Verizon, or similar account.
To be clear, I can make calls to other Whatsapp subscribers using this phone. Will the Uber app also accept a Whatsapp call?

do you mean like calling the driver to update your location or something? as far as I know you can't make regular phone calls with whatsapp, like to call someone on their cell number or home phone, you can just call other whatsapp users, because you're not actually making a phone call, you're just connecting audio between two whatsapp apps.
I don't use whatsapp so I can't say any of this is gospel. if whatsapp allows you to call a regular phone number (like a cell phone or home phone number) then I would assume it would work to call the uber driver's number. however, I don't think it does that.
