Hi, I have problem with my PC, it keeps shutting down and after few times on the bottom right corner says that "this copy of windows is not genuine". The windows was already installed the first time I bought my PC. Is there any temporary solution to fix my problem. At least that i could save my files? Thank you

Ok, I assume this is a Hardware problem ( Ram memory, Power Supply, HD)  If you are trying to recover your files from your Hard Drive maybe you'd have to remove it to Install it in another computer that works fine and back up all your files from there.

There’s a chance it's a software problem but if you’re trying to recover your files, remove the disk from that computer and connect it to another PC maybe that's your best chance.

Ok let's try this:  Turn down your computer and power up again immediately, press F8  in the keyboard until a Menu appears select: start windows in safe mode.

I Wait for your answer.

Thanks for clarifying and fwiw it is not a problem with using an alias but it can be confusing to folk who are trying to help a fellow member, you have an avatar which helps to identify your good self when you post but if there was no avatar it could get rather confusing, especially if a thread has more than one page.

Will leave you with it but will chime back in if I have any troubleshooting suggestions for you that have not already been tried.
