I cannot remove multiple contacts from Iphone. I have about 6 of the same contacts. I even manually remove contacts and old numbers. but they reappear.

Clear the cache data from the settings and restart the phone. This will help you resolve the issue.

I have the same issue and the problem is I manually remove them and then they appear again, I don't know how and from where. May be social media networks?
