Ive been browsing amazon and came across 2 monitors im having a really hard time choosing between one is a Viotek 27" 1440p 144hz VA pannel and the other is an Acer Predator 24" 1080p 144hz TN pannel but it has Gsync (I have nvidia card) so Ive been having a hard time choosing since one is better quality of picture Ive heard from reviews the viotek has really nice colors and deep blacks and since its a higher resolution also look nice vs Performance of the Gsync monitor and the difference in price is 100$ the Viotek is 500 the Predator is 400

First question is do you have a budget to work with?  Viotek isn't  brand that is common in the USA.

VA panels provide a good middle ground with better-than-IPS refresh rates and contrast levels, but have worse viewing angles and color production, although generally still better than TN. Response times are VA's largest downfall, though, being slower than IPS and its variants and TN

A quick check on amazon and I see that the Viotek monitor is running Freesync on order to do 144hz.  Your Freesync monitor will indeed work with the NVidia graphics card. You will lose some functionality. You can’t use the active sync feature which maintains the variable refresh rate. However, if you do not absolutely need this feature, then a Freesync Monitor will provide you a much more affordable option and still offer super high performance.

I upgraded to a g-sync monitor last year and tested with with and without g-sync enabled.  Monitor  ran fine and games looked good.  With g-sync the experience was so much more than I thought I would get.  Running at 144hz makes a huge difference.

If the choice is high resolution without freesync or g-sync I would skip it.  Would you notice the help of those technologies on a 1080p screen.  Sure, but at 1080p the resolution isn't really worth it unless you go 27'' or larger.

Specs vs Specs I would go withViotek.  Just a little leery of the brand, but Amazon has a good return policy.  Hold on to your current monitor so you have a backup just in case.

I am Googling about display and i found that G-Sync monitors are generally more expensive by more or less $200 than their FreeSync counterparts due to this measure. Nvidia also enforces a rigorous testing and certification progress for its partners before they can officially sell a new G-Sync monitor.

Another disliked limitation of G-Sync monitors is the limited connectivity dictated by the FPGA controller. Most certified products only have a DisplayPort 1.2 and an HDMI 1.4 slot which is somewhat useless since G-Sync requires a DisplayPort connection. A second gen version called G-Sync HDR is also already available, but its more complex nature makes it even more expensive.
