Hi there,

I tried to find this topic but could get an answer so I am posting it here.

this man has brought a laptop it's Lenovo ThinkPad with Windows 7. He has lost windows password. I tried to get in to BIOS but it is also locked with password and he does't know it. I tried to get in to Windows Error Recovery mode but he has Bitlocker installed and he doesn't know the key. I mean he is locked out of the system from every aspect. Is there anything one can do about it? He doesn't have any recovery disk.

Hi xboy,

As per the GTG Terms of Use that we all agreed to when joining.

Due to the nature of online help we are not able to verify ownership, and will not be able to help bypass or recover any user passwords, cd keys, license codes, serial numbers, etc.

While we will not help you with getting around passwords we can advise you as to how you can have this resolved using legitimate means, take the tablet to a reputable tech local to you or have them come to you, you will need proof of ownership such as the sales invoice, picture ID such as a driving license/passport and proof of your address such as a recent utility bill.

Sorry that we could help you further with this particular matter. :(

Thank you,
Donna :)
