Click on the link to download HiJackThis.exe.
2.) When it pulls up the box (for you to pick a location to save the file), click on the pulldown menu and select "[C:]".
3.) Click on the button to "create new folder" and name the folder HiJackThis
4.) Double click on the folder you just made (to go into the folder) and click "save" on the bottom of the box.

Norton protects your recyclebin. Right click your recycle bin and choose 'remove protected file'. It will probably ask you if you are sure you want to remove around 1.500 protected files. Say yes. It's like a restore point. Norton will build that up again.

Your HijackThis log looks clean.

Don't forget to setup AdAware before running it. Have AdAware remove all items in red.

Maybe it's wise to defragment the disk.

--------

If you say everything is ok on your computer now, I'll post you some tips on how to keep the computer as clean as possible.
