Hello 

I need expert advise on what to buy. Laptop or desk top for creating elearning files. My budget is tight, basically i am looking for a core i7, 8 or 12gb ram, 1T HD.

 

how good are the all in one pcs vs regular desktops. i am still leaning towards a laptop though the speed of LT vs DT is a concern.

Generally speaking, you get more bang for the buck with a Desktop. Since they don't have to worry about battery life or airflow, they tend to be faster.

A desktop is always better than laptops. There only one advantage laptops have over the desktop is they are easy to carry. Otherwise, in every aspect desktop dominate over the laptops like are way quicker than laptops, you do need to worry about the battery life, they are cheaper than the laptops and you can cool your desktop according to your requirements.

If you have usual budget you choose desktop, it's much more cheaper than laptop with the same requirements
