I believe I followed all the cleanup steps and I still have a problem. I would really appreciate some help. For a week or so I would get the "can't find C:\windows\userint32.exe" message. By other postings, it seems to be indicative of a particular worm (Oscabot-C), although I am only guessing here. Also, Norton Anti-Virus identifies but fails getting rid of something called Adware minibug, or a similar name, and SpySweeper didn't even find it. I can check for the name in the Norton log if that is important. So I did a full Norton scan first, then Spysweeper, then tried a system restore back several weeks ago, and nothing worked. I then shut down system restore and went through the entire cleanup protocol on this site, downloading the software on another machine and transferring to the infected machine. I was not able to do one step, the windows update, because Internet Explorer continuously pulls up the page that says it can't find the site (same message for every URL attempted), so I can't browse anything. But I had previously had Windows Update set for Automatic.

Interesting to note that throughout, all the program updates by broadband and Instant Messenger work fine, as does this other computer I am typing on that is connected through the same router. And somewhere along the way during the many shutdowns and startups and cleanup steps, I did lose the message about "userint32.exe". However Explorer still does not work. Can anyone help?
