Hey Guys,

Probably a simple thing, but I used a proggie called "File Backupper" prior to dealing with an HP pc that I couldn't get past the desktop.

I am willing to reformat, but not until I know "backupper" has a copy of my "my documents" which includes all my family photos of the past year.

I have the rest backed up to a 1 TB external, but I hadn't done a backup since 2017. Can anyone instruct me how to open my "backupper" file?

I tried to run it myself but the DL was incomplete (I see many of my pic files and song files were missing, so my extraction was poorly done.

I saved the file on my external 1 TB HDD and have adequate room for the backup.

Thanks much

Hi, and welcome to our forums,

If you are not confident that your back up application is working properly then I would recommend that you just use copy and paste to copy your folder to your external hard drive.

Post back if you need further information on this

I have been using multiple backup programs to multiple drives. One that I use and like really well is Syncback Free. It can backup files and/or folders/ or full drives. It can be set hourly, weekly, or monthly.
