I am not able to access the Google web site. The first symptom was the Google toolbar stopped returning searches. I un-installed the tool bar and now I can't even get to Google.com. The page times out. I can access other areas of the web without any problems.
This issue corresponds with an attack of Malware called "spyware sheriff", that is being addressed in another post.
Could the two be related?
I also recently downloaded Counterspy.

That address worked. I am under the impression that I have something on my system filtering/blocking the word "Google".
Any thoughts?

Hawker - where do you find that number as it relates to a website. I have a number of sites I can't access. Please advise.
