I went out for 5 minutes to do the groceries, I come back and my keyboard doesnt work at all. Before i left it was working just fine. i looked in device manager and it simply doesnt show up, ive done the method of deleting the regedit lower filter to no avail. this problem is [bleep]ing infuriating, its as if i left the house and my keyboard died. the lights are still working on it so it isnt off
Keyboard suddenly decides to go missing from my computer.

What version of Windows are you using?
What type of keyboard, USB?
Have you tried other ports if USB?
Does the keyboard work if you go into the bios?
Do you know if it may have performed any updates?
Do you have any restore points?
Do you have a Windows install media such as as USB or DVD?
