I'm working on my father's pc.

Windows 10 home 64-bit

Gateway dx4860

8 g RAM

Intel Core i5-2300 2.8gHz

Windows freezes every time while during update. Inasmuch as the screen is blue, I don't have any clear indication of what the problem is, no codes or anything else. Also, the computer seems to have a general problem restarting. It freezes during restarting, and the next day, it's still frozen. We have to hard shut down with the power button.

Hello dlwtechquest,

Couple of questions if I may;

Does the computer eventually boot into Windows.

Has this started since the recent patch Tuesday Windows cumulative update (14/08/2018).
