We gave Google Fi and it's phones and services a go and have not been very happy with the decision as a whole. Has anyone here had any success getting the phones folders to show up on your PC or Laptop once it is connected via usb? We haven't. We both have the Huawei Nexus 6P

  1. Connect the USB cable from the device to the computer.

  2. On the computer, if an AutoPlay window appears, click Open folder to view files.

Note: If an AutoPlay window does not appear, from the Start menu on the computer, click Computer, then double-click the device name under Portable Devices.

If the device does not show up on the computer, on the device swipe the Notification bar down, tap the USBnotification, and ensure Media device (MTP) is checked.

  3. Double click the preferred storage location.

  4. A window will open displaying the contents of the Internal storage or SD card in the device.

Drag and drop files into the appropriate folders and/or sub-folders.

  5. Music files are typically stored in a folder titled Music.

Photos and Videos captured with the device camera are typically stored in a folder titled DCIM.

Note: 3rd Party applications may store photos in different locations on the memory card. Consult the application's support website or contact the developer for further assistance.

  6. Once the file transfer is complete, disconnect the USB cable.
