Sorry bro....had a family emergency while I was trying to prepare your reply and had to run to the hospital!

Please give me a little bit here!

I am attaching a Zip folder to this post>> Download and Right Click the Zip folder and Select "Extract All"

Double Click on "Track qoo.vbs"

If you Antivirus has Script Blocking, you will get a Pop Up Windows asking you what to do

Allow this Entire Script to Run,its harmless!

Wait a few seconds and a notepad page will pop up,Copy&Paste those results in the next post!

Now we need to see a Startup log from HijackThis

Hijackthis StartUp Log:
Open HijackThis,Select Config(Bottom Right)>>>Select Misc Tools>>> Select Generate StartUpList log and make sure that both Boxes beside it are checked:

Put a check by:
List all minor sections(Full)
and
List Empty Sections(Complete)

It will produce a NotePad Page,I need you to post the entire contents of that page to the next post!

I really appreciate you sticking with us on this one,Now I see why we cant kill it,its found a new place to hide!

Little more Info so I know the Instructions will be correct

Open Process Explorer and tell me out of all the ones I have listed, what you can actually see in Process Explorer

naip.exe
supdate.dll
uksqw.dll
rapnjk.exe

Then Double Click these Processes and look under the Threads tab and see if any are listed under there

Winlogon.exe
Explorer.exe
Svchost.exe
Services.exe
Rundll32.exe<< If it exist in processes

Also...See what you can find out about these 2

C:\WINDOWS\system32\bamrnco.exe<< No Info anywhere!!

C:\WINDOWS\System32\DONTTO~2.SCR<< ScreenSaver?? And is it still used?

Sites to Scan a Single File

http://virusscan.jotti.org/

http://www.virustota...h/index_en.html

Check the threads for each one while I prepare the proper regedits!

Thanks for being so patient but this bug has really changed faces on me!

ok here is what I have so far:

naip.exe i found using process explorer. The other three I did not see.

as far as going into process and threads I found: uksqw.dll+ox1050 under explorer.exe.

Not sure what C:\WINDOWS\system32\bamrnco.exe and C:\WINDOWS\System32\DONTTO~2.SCR are, I tried a search for them and couldn't find them. If that one is a screen saver I probably won't use it, I just use my photoslide show.

Thanks for all your help, and let me know what more I can do.

OK,lets try this one more time!

I am attaching a Zip folder with a Reg File inside!

Download this to the Desktop and Right Click the Folder and Select "Extract All"

Dont run the reg file just yet!

Open Pocket Killbox and Paste each of these into it

C:\WINDOWS\system32\rapnjk.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\uksqw.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\supdate.dll
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\StartMenu\Programs\Startup\naip.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\bamrnco.exe

Select "Delete on Reboot"

Answer "Yes" to Confirm and "No" to restart!

Once at the last entry, Click "Yes" to Confirm and "Yes" to Restart

Restart in Safe Mode!

Once in Safe Mode,Double Click shewqoo.reg and allow it to merge into the registry!

Open HijackThis and place a check by

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KavSvc] C:\WINDOWS\system32\rapnjk.exe reg_run

Make sure All Windows and Browsers are Closed and Click Fix Checked!

Open Pocket Killbox again and Paste these into it

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\naip.exe
C:\GatorPatch.log
C:\WINDOWS\system32\FLEOK
C:\WINDOWS\Bundles
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Application Data\Lycos
C:\Program Files\windows adstatus
C:\Program Files\Funcade
C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Favorites\WeirdOnTheWeb.url
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Viewpoint
C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\ClientAX.inf
C:\WINDOWS\inf\polall1r.inf
C:\WINDOWS\inf\polmx2.inf
C:\WINDOWS\unist2.exe
C:\WINDOWS\qdbnukn.exe
C:\WINDOWS\salm_gdf.dat
C:\WINDOWS\satmat.ini
C:\WINDOWS\system\UpdInst.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\stlb2.xml
C:\WINDOWS\system32\bamrnco.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ap2nqrd4.dat
C:\WINDOWS\system32\bamrnco.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\baur5s9q.dat
C:\WINDOWS\system32\bqrufs5f.dat
C:\WINDOWS\system32\kyf.dat
C:\WINDOWS\system32\pukba.dat
C:\WINDOWS\system32\q10pvbrv.dat
C:\WINDOWS\system32\rapnjk.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ritsacnk.dat
C:\WINDOWS\system32\rkiopeu.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\stlb2.xml
C:\WINDOWS\system32\uksqw.dll

Place a tick by these Selections when available

"Standard File Kill"
"End Explorer Shell while Killing File"
"Unregister .dll before Deleting"
"Deltree(Include Subdirectories)"

Once those are ticked,Click the Red Circle with the White X in the Middle to Delete!

This time I need to know that you got a confirmation that either says

File Deleted

File doesnt seem to exist

Could not Delete

Please keep track of this info for me!

If you have any files that Killbox could not delete,I need to know about that in the next post!

Restart Normal and Scan with Panda once more!

Post back with a fresh HijackThis log and the Results from Panda!

Ok I did everything you asked. As far as the killbox scan everything deleted except:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\bamrnco.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\rapnjk.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\stlb2.xml
C:\WINDOWS\system32\uksqw.dll
These four stated "file doesn't seem to exist"

Below is my HJT log and then the Active scan log.

Well I like what I see...it should feel better too! :tazz:

See if you can locate these 2 files and email them to me

C:\WINDOWS\inf\mmaker2.inf

C:\WINDOWS\inf\satmat.inf

If you can see these 2 files, create a Zip folder on the desktop by,Right Clicking the Desktop and Selecting Compressed(zipped)Folder

Place a copy of each in the Zip Folder and before you close it>> Click File>> Add a Password!

Make the password "infected" (All lower case letters)

Email them here

[email protected]

Once thats complete,Delete the Zip Folder and Both files and Empty the Recycle Bin!

If you can See them, just use KillBox and Delete them that way

C:\WINDOWS\inf\satmat.inf

C:\WINDOWS\inf\mmaker2.inf

Just make sure those 2 are gone for ever and then go to you C Drive and Delete

C:\!Submit<< The Folder from KillBox!

Install these 2 to assist in some Security for Browsing!

ok all done with most of that, the program "IE Spyad" didn't seem to work right, is it something I really should have? When I tried to run it a notebook type page came up and basically asked what I wanted to do, but it was flickering and wouldn't do anything else. Anyhow....just wondering.

Also I would like to go over with you (if you have a moment) some of the programs I have downloaded from you in the past few days (what I should be keeping and what I should get rid of), also my own spyware and AV programs I have.

Thanks again, Dawn :tazz:

These can go

hoster
noqoo.reg
deldomains.inr
findqoologic
trackqoologic
process explorer
ewido security suite
l2mfix
nailfix

What I dont see is a decent firewall in the bunch!

As for the rest, from what I see,u shoud be OK,allthough I dont have MAS on here!

If it were me,I would get this Firewall installed
Sygate Personal Firewall:
http://smb.sygate.co...pf_standard.htm

Then I would wait until Norton Subsciption ran out and Uninstall Norton and Use one of these

AVG

Antivir

Hopefully that answered some of the questions

Ok that should do it. Thank you so much.

Is Norton not a good antibirus program? I hear so many people say bad things, but you know how rumors go.

I'll check into that firewall program.

Well once again thank you so much!! ;) :tazz: ;)

All Antivirus Programs have Weaknesses,I think because of Symantecs Polotics,it doesnt allow them to much more than Identify and maybe Quaratine the files!

That being said...I Use NIS so what can I say???!!!

Norton Internet Security is a fine program for most but paying for it again is in question as far as I am concerned!

Did you find and email those files I asked about?
