Hello, i really hope you can help me! So I just got my dell xps 15 and I managed to get the Heuristics.Shuriken virus on it....

Capture.png

I am getting these pop ups from malware bytes every 3 seconds or so, and my laptop is becoming really hot and fan speed is going crazy! I really really want this removed asap.. I tried to go to the destination of that folder and it says Access Denied, I have also tried OTL and this has done nothing. Malwarebytes is not doing anything, as this virus seems to keep reinstalling itself as it gets removed then instantly malwarebytes says I have the virus again.. Please help me! It is breaking my laptop it is becoming extremlely hot...

Hi iCasey,

Welcome to Geeks2Go! :)

I do apologize for the delay...

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool to your desktop from one of the links below:

For x32 (x86) bit systems download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool.
For x64 bit systems download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool x64.
  • Right click on the FRST.exe and choose Run as administrator.
  • When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Under Optional Scan make sure there is a checkmark in the box for Addition.txt to ensure it creates that 2nd log.
  • Press Scan button.
  • Please copy and paste both logs in your next reply.
Thank you,
Donna :)
