I recently re-built many components to my computer. I have an Asus A8N SLI-Deluxe motherboard, 2GB RAM, AMD Athlan 64 3000+, Nvidia GeForce 6200 256mb video card. I had it working for awhile but it started freezing when I would try to load into windows. I decided to zero out my hard drives and start from scratch on the hard drives. I reformatted one of the hard drives so I could install windows xp pro. Everytime I get into the installation process of windows it keeps freezing and I have to reformat the hard drive and start over again. It won't repair the windows because of the drive.cab. And it won't start after it freezes because of the missing hal file. I need major help!! If you have any suggestions reply to this or send me an email at [email protected] with subject Windows XP. Thank you.
