Please remind me how I get the two listings -- the source and the target listings -- on my desktop PC simultaneously. ... Thanks  batpark

You can open two instances of Window File Explorer simultaneously and size them so that you can see both of them.

 

Personally, I used xplorer² and its dual pane function.  There is also a free version of that app found here.
