Every time I view a pdf document in Adobe Acrobat, it comes up as a "Letter" size document. I want to change this default to A4 so that it prints to my printer which uses A4 paper. It is very annoying - having to change it every time I want to print.

You can set the printer preferences from the Windows Control Panel. Open the Control Panel, go to Printers, right-click on the Adobe PDF Printer, select Printer Preferences and in the dialog set the default page size to A4.
