when I try installing things like Power DVD 5.0 and even games. I get a problem with some file inside the isntallshield folder.. it says the file couldn't be found or the file couldn't be installed or something... like for example "iKernel.exe" it's there.. but it says it couldn't be found.
this is a brand new computer... I built it.. yes, correctly.. lol. I don't understand how this could be happening... argh.
I'll give you one exact problem I'm having.
I try to install a game. and it comes up with this exact error:
"An installation support file 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\Installshield\engine\6\intel32\' could not be installed.

The System cannot find the file specified."

I'm up to date with all my windows updates and all my drivers and everything. Thank you in advance.

if this doesn't belong here.. please notify me where you move it to.
