Hello,

my desktop runs Win 10 Enterprise.

I have disabled many times the update service from the Services, but I have often updates installed.

And every time I disable the service again and again.

How can I disabled permantly?

Why is this happening?

Thanks in advance

Not sure why you want to disable them but installing Windows updates is necessary as it helps to keep you safe from malware attack.

my desktop runs Win 10 Enterprise.

Is this your own personal computer or does it belong to a workplace or education facility.

Windows 10 Enterprise as described by Microsoft is for organisations with advanced security and management needs and not for personal use, a system administrator will normally be the only one that is allowed to carry out changes such as disabling updates and/or anything else that could compromise the software or any network.

Hi, it my personal computer.

Some times after updates my pc crashes or goes slower.

Today after the update I saw disk usage 100% for about 10 minutes.

The only software running was 8-9 tabs of chrome.

That was not a problem before. I  have 16GB memory

Thank you for your time

Can I ask, if this is your own personal computer how do you come to have Windows 10 Enterprise on it, as explained this particular version of Windows is for large organisations with advanced security and management needs and is not for personal use, it also costs around $345 to purchase + an annual fee payable per user

Not heard back from you manin, do you still require assistance or is the issue now resolved, an update would be appreciated.

It's very important to understand the important of Windows update to your system but if you really like to disable permanently you can do that in your local policy of your computer or if you are in a workgroup or been manage by domain you can do that in your Active Directory computer policy.
