My Hp 110 desktop powered off and won't power back on. The keyboard wasn't working so I plugged in a spare ,it worked for a while then the PC just powered off and now won't power back on. I have replaced the power cord and the green light in the back of the unit is lit.

After you press the button to power the computer on, does the fan in the power supply start spinning?

First, double check that the outlet the computer is plugged into is indeed working.
Second, check to see if you have at least 110V AC at the end of the electrical cord that plugs into the computer.
If those both check out okay, my next step would be to try another, known-good power supply.

Then the next step would be to take it back down to bare bones out on a table. Nothing but motherboard (on a non-conductive surface), CPU (w/heatsink), RAM, PSU, video, keyboard and mouse.
Now see if it will boot into the BIOS.
If not, try different PSU and/or RAM.
If and when you do get into the BIOS, reset the BIOS to factory default.
Let us know what happens ...
