I'm currently going through a ShoutCast phase which will soon pass but at the mo i need some help. I have opened the neccessary ports (8000-8001) on my router and have disabled the Windows XP Firewall but still i can't get ShoutCast to connect. Please help :tazz:

when i used it (breifly) i forwarded port 8000 straight to my private IP, to the computer that i was using as the server. put your IP into the router port forwarding config, so the router knows to send requests from the pub IP for port 8000, it will forward it to you....do you use linksys by any chance?
