So the problem originally started when I noticed my laptop wasn't connected. I ran downstairs, Mom's laptop was connected just fine, but the TV wasn't. Tried rebooting the router, the TV worked, but Mom's laptop needed rebooting. Mine just needed ten minutes to move from the 5g back to the normal connection (Verizon fios if it matters).
I figured the problem was solved, my roku 3 would reconnect on its own, or need a reboot at most. So I rebooted the roku. No go. Unplugged, waited ten seconds, plugged it in again. Nothing. Rebooted again.
Guys, it's not connecting, and there's no option for the 5g connection.
Do I need a new Roku box?
