Hi.
Is there a way/program to lower bit rates in media player, I've got a load of 320kbps and want to reduce it to around 128kbps, this sort of thing realy does matter with a 40GB hardrive.

bit rates can only be adjusted during the original recording. once its stuck at 320, it stays unless you convert to a different format. say avi to divx.

video help has some excellent info. You should check it out.

Can't understand why anyone would want to do that, sure it takes up a little less space put 128 sounds like total crap imo compared to 320 oh well to each his own I guess :tazz:
