Hi,

Its perfectly normal to have the Windows and Windows.old folder, the first is for the current version and the .old is a backup of the old installation that is used to restore the system state in case of problems.

After 30 days the Windows.old folder is removed automatically by Windows.

Lt me know if you have more questions.

Hi Sleepy Dude
Just 1 question.
After the reinstall of Windows, my key board has 2 keys that have been transposed.
The @ symbol is now on the " key and vice versa.
How do I correct this.
Thanks

Try to use the command prompt option. Run the system as administrator and type the scan now command to repair the windows.
