Hi,

Came across a folder Hal (My Computer) -- Documents and it has 0.98 GBs in various folders

Can I delete them or do I need to keep them.

I am not short of space.

Regards

Hi,

Take a look through the folder and check if they are important (needed) files or not.

Since the files are in the Documents folder, they are most likely to be documents that you saved there.

If it's system folder, I wouldn't recommend you to delete it.

Hi and thank you for the replies.

I came across the Documents folder because I had mislaid a page for a book I am writing.

I put a search into Cortana and it came up with the folder's location.

I don't store anything there myself, would the system do it automatically?

Regards

If you're worried about it, do a virus scan, if that comes back clear, and you have no problems with your computer then don't delete it.  Just as it has been said before.  Best to leave it.

Do not worry I touch nothing on this computer unless I am told by Geeks to Go.

Just interested in what they were doing there.

But thanks for the heads up

Regards
