so i have a bsod, stays at that page, only can restart. the stop code is NTFS FILE SYSTEM, unsure if i am trying at the correct time but unable to get to safe mode pressing f8. i can see the files/folders from another version of windows(2 versions on separate hdds) so the info there, just no boot, started after the last windows update(would not update started the update reboot then fail, restart pattern), so my question is, is it possible to get passed the bsod and attempt to restore this hdd? win 10 pro 32bit M.2. hdd

Open an Administrator Command prompt and Run:

CHKDSK /F X:

Where the X is the drive letter of the OS  in trouble.
