Hi,

I am trying to view a video that is DRM protected. I have tried viewing from the website, but when Media Player opens, it says the following "Windows Media Player cannot play the file. If the file is located on the Internet, connect to the Internet. If the file is located a removable storage card, insert the storage card." My internet connection is fine. I also tried saving to my hard drive, but when i go to view, it says i need a security update, but when i click ok, nothing happens.

I feel as though my windows media player is not connecting to the internet. I have Media Player 10. Any ideas? I have tried installing and uninstalling. updating my windows. Am I missing something?

I am a computer novice, so any help will be great. Thanks.

Try installing an older version of WMP or a winamp

http://www.oldversion.com (Sorry but they do POP UPS)

Otherwise its an excellent site.
They have all prereleased verions of popular soft.
carefull with codecs you might need to reinstall some but don't get carried away.
