Member 3k :

I mean, in general.   ALL of our computer parts ARE made in China.   Now.... with the climate of trade between the U.S. and China degrading..............if China decided to stop ALL trade with the U.S.,  we (the United States) would be in deep  "stuff".  Which would eventually lead to the dissolving of ALL computers in the U.S.  Which would be VERY devastating to us (the U.S.).  Because, there would be no replacement parts for any of our computer systems.  Which is why I question Donald Trump.  He says he wants to  bring industry back into the U.S.  He constantly over-steps the computer industries.  If we could manufacture and sell computer parts right in the U.S.,  that would help solve the  "lack of computer parts"  dilemma.   Example : AT&T.   Could you imagine the devastation if replacement parts became unavailable for their "systems" ?   That would set them back, doing the phone business like they did in the 60s.  Of course, there's other  'big' name companies that need replacement parts too.   It would be a VERY grimm situation.  Being everything, now, is computerized.
