For the purpose of this discussion, I am using Firefox on Windows 7.

When searching some sites such as parts catalogs, one can 'open' the feature such that it needs to be scrolled to see it all. If one wants to copy just the 'open'  information, is there an easy way to do so? It is possible to use a snipping tool to successively copy sections of it, and reassemble them later, but that method is rather cumbersome. A full page screenshot gets the entire page; all the 'closed' section, but  only the currently displayed part of the 'open' information, so is unsatisfactory.

Edit: I would like to save the file in a form which can be directly displayed on a website so aspects of the data can be discussed; file types usable on the site include .txt, .pdf, .jpg, .png, .gif, .jpe.  but since .txt saves no pictures, it doesn't serve the purpose, and pdf doesn't either, as mentioned above.

What I really need is a picture (e.g. .jpg) of the scrolled data.

I should have originally noted that I need it in a form that can be directly viewed when uploaded 'into' to a post on a website, as a .jpg could be; a word document can't be. If I convert it to a .pdf, it doesn't get opened and displayed within the post, and still gives me the problems described below. I have edited my original post to better explain what I'd like to do. Should have explained that all last night, but...well...it was late.

 

Let me restate; in both the linked example above and the actual situation I am interested in, the section which opens needs to be scrolled to see all the open data. How can copy all that open data in one procedure, without getting everything above and below on the page, in a file type I can upload into a website post? If I use "Select All", then copy and paste it into MS Word, I get all the links above and below the material, which need to be removed. It saves all the arrows, etc. as links, changes the line formatting (keeping height, compressing line width), and gives me a product that doesn't look at all original in formatting. It also can't be uploaded onto the site within a post.

 

Is there a way to manipulate a Snipping tool or 'Screenshot' to capture all the hidden Open data at one time?  Or, possibly a free application which does?
