Error 10010 : server {B52D54BB-4818-4EB9-AA80-F9EACD371DF8} did not register with DCOM -  {B52D54BB-4818-4EB9-AA80-F9EACD371DF8} referring to Windows Search Platform, APPID {9E175B9C-F52A-11D8-B9A5-505054503030}

This Windows 10 Indexing Error appears multiple times:

- System
    - Provider
      [ Name] Microsoft-Windows-DistributedCOM       [ Guid] {1B562E86-B7AA-4131-BADC-B6F3A001407E}       [ EventSourceName] DCOM
    - EventID 10010
      [ Qualifiers] 0
      Version 0       Level 2       Task 0       Opcode 0       Keywords 0x8080000000000000     - TimeCreated
      [ SystemTime] 2019-05-26T06:16:09.160059200Z
      EventRecordID 41888       Correlation     - Execution
      [ ProcessID] 604       [ ThreadID] 9552
      Channel System       Computer DESKTOP-BKLTVT7     - Security
      [ UserID] S-1-5-18
- EventData
    param1 {B52D54BB-4818-4EB9-AA80-F9EACD371DF8}

- I effectively can do nothing with indexing, since it locks up "waiting to receive indexing status", with the "modify button greyed out.

- clicking the advanced button simply leads to another huge delay

- I have tried every known method I could find on the web

- ... so, in fact, I don't even know if this Error and the indexing issue are the same!

Since most of the web info focuses on error 10016 and not Error 10010, a fix for this would be appreciated. At this stage I have no idea how much the search actually works!
