Hello there,

Today, I decided to visit and register for membership here, as Geeks to Go has a good reputation. However, on arrival on the main Geeks to Go home page my java security extension for my Mozilla browser warned me that an Alexa.com java script was functioning out of the home page. Can this be true? If so, it would be ironic since one of the forum's functions is to combat and remove malware/spyware from people's machines. I was a little surprised I have to say.

Kind Regards

Hi HappyShiner,

That is a sitestats script.
The choice to allow them is the same as for cookies. All yours. :tazz:

I agree that could be confusing, and it's unneeded, so I removed it. :tazz:

Hi there admin,

I think that's for the best as I certainly was a little taken aback and somewhat confused. I'm surprised nobody else mentioned it.

A very nice site by the way, still exploring and getting a feel for the place :tazz:
