Dell Inspiron 15 7000 - I connected a video camera to download videos via USB port.  When selecting 'PC Connect' on camera, got a message to plug in AC adapter.  When connecting the ac adapter to the camera, the laptop immediately lost all power.  All that was visible was a flickering light along the front leading edge, which went away with camera disconnected.  Now, there is no power whatsoever.   What happened?

Sounds like something shorted out. Make sure everything is disconnected from laptop an try an power up. Try taking battery out and power up with just your ac adapter. Hold the power button down for 30 seconds.
