Hey Guys,

I'm new here, I found this site by chance on google.
Anyway uhm, I have a really big problem with my computer.

Every time I go to play a game, I will click it, it will start to load, and before it starts to play the beginning movie w/e it will just close (in Rome: Total War) I get to see a loading screen first...

But yeh,
I have tried: nVidia driver update (which i usually do anyway), System restore (to a time when it was working), AVG Virus Scan, Norton Virus Scan, Spybot S&D. If possible

I want to avoid a format because when I type my XP CD KEY (ontop of my PC) it says its invalid and i sent it to microsoft and they gave me a new one which they typed in to the computer and not gave me.. and im not going through all the hassel of sending it to them again!!!

Please can you help,
I would be so greatful.

Otherwise my PC seems to be running fine.

Thanks,
Chris.
