I have a friend who still uses windows 7. We currently copied a large amount of pictures and video to a thumb drive. During the backup all the AVI movie files were changed to VEM extensions. I understand that this is a piece of software belongs to sony, and has supplied it to compress video file so you can save room on the thumb drive. I know I can use decompress_10 to get the files back to AVI files. I have tried the program and it works. However you can only decompress one file at a time. Because there is a large amount of VEM files, I am wondering is there an easier way to decompress the multiple files. I thought of writing a small script. However I don't know how I could pass the VEM files as a parameter to the program. Or is there another app/software that con do this already, and I could just use that. I would like to thank any and all answers in advance to help me resolve this issue.
