My screen display all of a sudden started showing fonts about 3 or 4 inches tall. I cant even log in because everything is so big! It is unresponsive too.
Ive got a new pc ordered but i have document and tax files i need to pull off this computer.
Please help

All i can do is shut down, restart and sleep; ease of access which doesnt do anything; i have a "sun" and an exclamation point and the font gets a little smaller. Thats it.

Thanks freebooter, but the furthest i can get is to the choose option screen. As soon as i click on the arrow, my pc cycles thru and takes me back to the sign-in screen.

Im striking out again. My pc came loaded with win 7 and then i upgraded to win 10, which was a download.

You asked if i had a win10 dvd and i was responding to that.
Also, not sure if you went back to the beginning of this string when i explained the original problem. I think im going to have to take ut to a pc store to see if they can"crack thru" the lock on my pc.

If all you want are the files and pictures there are ways to do that. You can pull the hard drive and put it in a USB enclosure when your new one comes or you can boot to a Linux CD or USB. Doing that will allow you to copy the files to a backup device.

Thank you for the info. Ive never attempted to pull a hard drive, but theres no time luke the present to learn.
